My name is Nataly Goncalves, and I’m a registered counsellor specialising in women’s mental health.
Because I have lived with anxiety for many years, I bring both professional training and lived experience into my work. I offer a comprehensive, compassionate approach to therapy, tailored specifically for women—honouring the unique interplay between female neurobiology, emotional needs, and life experiences.
Rooted in science-informed therapeutic approaches and shaped by Christian values, my work is about walking alongside you through life’s difficult seasons while supporting meaningful and lasting transformation.

My therapeutic approach integrates female-centred neuroscience with evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, Self-Compassion Therapy,Humanistic frameworks, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Life Coaching strategies that consider the unique aspects of female neurobiology.

Having lived with anxiety for many years myself, I bring genuine empathy and understanding to our sessions, creating a safe space where you can feel supported and truly heard.
Anxiety and Depression can take the best out of all of us, make it difficult to enjoy life and engage in activities you once loved, and It is particularly frightening after childbirth because it is a season of great changes and challenges!
I offer evidence-based treatments that have been proven to be effective for anxiety and depression, focused on maternal self-compassion, which enables peace, healing, and great relief.
In addition, sometimes, we need someone to talk to who truly listens, which in and of itself brings healing and hope.

The menopause transition can have a profound impact on a woman's life—beginning as early as the mid-thirties (perimenopause) and continuing through the post-menopausal years, typically after age 55. One of the most life-changing and often overlooked aspects of this journey is its effect on mental health.
Many women experience cognitive challenges such as memory loss, brain fog, and mental confusion, along with anxiety, sleep disturbances, and even depression. These symptoms are often a result of hormonal fluctuations—yet, most of us have not been properly educated or supported to understand and navigate these massive changes.
This is where I come in.

Self-discovery sessions are designed to guide you toward deeper self-knowledge and understanding. In these sessions, you will explore important aspects of who you are—your personality, core values, strengths and weaknesses, learning style, and attachment patterns.
We also look at the female brain and the natural hormonal fluctuations women experience, and how these rhythms can influence mood, energy, focus, and behaviour. By understanding these patterns, you can learn how to navigate them with greater awareness and even take advantage of their unique strengths, rather than feeling controlled by them.
The goal of these sessions is to create space for meaningful self-reflection and growth. As you begin to understand your patterns and behaviours, you can make more intentional choices that align with your true self—learning to work with your natural rhythms and enhancing your overall wellbeing and performance in life.
